We're sure we couldn't have introduced Henry Todog better than how he introduces himself: "The reason I paint pictures is my love of film. That's why in my paintings you will almost exclusively see moments depicting a scene from a TV-movie. The world of film has been a source of inspiration for me since childhood, and many a film hero (with whom I have identified) has helped me through difficult periods in my life. With my paintings I want to pay tribute to the art of filmmaking because it is a world I have come to love. I intend to continue to deal with film and series themes because I already have so many ideas for paintings in my head that I can't keep up with painting them."
