Reflex
The cult Czech magazine is not only on paper today. It has a strong website and podcast ecosystem, and it's heading to Comic Con with it all. One of the most listened to Czech podcasts, Hour of History, will present a special episode featuring the juiciest moments from human history. Editor-in-chief Martin Bartkovský will then interview Czech samurai Jakub Zeman on the topic of ancient Japan and will also host a discussion with a guest in the style of Space X.

History Hour
Originally a historical-erotic podcast from Reflex magazine, which increasingly deals with human history itself rather than its sexuality. It also won the Podcast of the Year award in education for this. At Comic Con Prague, hosts Jan Studnicka and Tereza Kujová get ready to tackle the juicy aspects of life in fictional worlds. Wondering how superheroes do it? What happens after dark at Hogwarts and what kind of sex life do Jedi have? He is too and they're about to find out!

Czech Samurai - Jakub Zeman
History expert, Japanologist, translator and great promoter of Japan and its history Jakub Zeman will talk about samurai and ronin at Comic Con. In addition to imparting historical knowledge, Jakub practices martial arts himself and is involved in creating living-history projects. Together with Reflex editor-in-chief Martin Bartkovsky, they have produced a ten-part series, A Day in the Skin of a Samurai, and several historical podcasts that have hundreds of thousands of plays. Together they will also sit in the debate chairs at Comic Con Prague 2024.

When he's not glossing over demonstrations or court hearings on Twitter, Martin leads Reflex's editorial team as one of the youngest domestic editors. But this Czech journalist does not only specialise in online commentary on political and social events, but also in classic interviews on the show Prostor X. He will also record one of them at Comic Con Prague.
