Václav Šlajch is a comic book author and illustrator who has been working as a freelancer since 2009.
He is the creator of the Japanese-themed comic projects IOGI and HIKOBAE. For AARGH! magazine, he regularly produces the comic series Lulenka. He collaborates with publishers Gnóm and Mladá fronta, as well as the Municipal Library in Prague.
At the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen, he leads the Media Illustration Studio.
He has created numerous book and magazine covers.
He loves cacti and Coen brothers' movies.
