She studied sociology at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno. She publishes short stories in the magazine Pevnost and in various anthologies and anthologies, such as Žoldnéři fantazie, Ve stínu Říše, Ve stínu apokalypsy. She has also worked as an editor of the anthology Hlubiny města
She captivated readers with her debut noir mystery Krev pro rusalku, which she followed up in 2023 with Krev pro divoženku. This was followed by the magical Zřídla, set in Brno. She is the author of the post-apocalyptic triptych known as the Cities series - Město v oblacích, Země v troskách and Svět v bouři.
With František Kotleta, she is co-authoring a science fiction project, the twelve-part space opera Legion. She has won several genre awards for her books.
