Tim Weaver is a former journalist and editor of a number of magazines. Although his career as a journalist was successful, he decided to write thrillers instead.
In Chasing the Dead he introduced private investigator David Raker, a specialist in finding missing persons, who subsequently became the hero of a number of award-winning crime thrillers. Weaver's fourth and tenth novels, Never Coming Back and No One Home, among others, were featured on the prestigious British book show Richard and Judy Book Club.
Weaver's books regularly appear on the Sunday Times bestseller list and two of them, You Were Gone and No One Home, have stayed on the list for several weeks in a row. His only novel so far outside his series with David Raker is the crime thriller Missing Pieces.
Tim Weaver lives with his wife and daughter near Bath in south-west England.
The author's books are published in this country and will be presented at the fair by Mystery Press.
