Rainbow Sun Francks is a Canadian actor. Francks was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Canadian actor and musician Don Francks and Plains Cree-African-American dancer Lili Red Eagle.
He made his debut at the age of four in the children's series SESAME STREET. At an early age, he formed his first music band, Dynasty, and appeared in the western mini-series BLACK FOX alongside Christopher Reeve and Tony Todd.
He is known for his role as Lt. Aiden Ford in the television show STARGATE: ATLANTIS, and his recurring roles as Dev Clark in THE LISTENER, as Det. Chuck Beamen in THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY and as Cameron Brooks in HIGH FIDELITY.
Throughout his life, he has been passionately interested in music, played the flute and trombone.
