WILLIAM NADYLAM (actor; France)

Guest appearance: all days

William Nadylam is French actor and director on stage and screen. Born in France, he grew up on several continents and in multiple countries, including Cameroon and Belgium.

In his work, he draws on his international upbringing and on a wide range of cultural influences. From Shakespeare to J.K. Rowling, Mozart to Aimé Césaire, Nadylam exhibits an acute understanding of diverse time periods, locations, and cultural contexts.

He is best known for playing the role of Yusuf Kama in Fantastic Beasts film series from the Wizarding World franchise (FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD and FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE).

In addition to being multilingual, his approach is also multidisciplinary. He was in medical school in Paris, set to follow in the footsteps of his physician father, when he turned to acting; like medicine, he considers it another way of caring for people and connecting with their stories.

Currently based in New York and Paris, Nadylam’s career spans film, television and theatre.
