KRYŠTOF FRANCIŠKO (comic book writer and artist; Czechia)

Guest appearance: all days

Kryštof Franciško graduated from the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences with a major in Economics and Management.

In his free time, he is an artist and comic creator who is fascinated by original stories with retro sci-fi themes. His main work is the comic series RUDÝ DĚS, where anthropomorphic animals in an alternative history fight against communism in space.

He focuses on the European school of comics, using watercolors as his primary tool. The richness and versatility of these colors are an excellent means of creating a somber atmosphere in comic books, and in this craft, he follows in the footsteps of many notable authors such as Juan Giménez, Juanjo Guarnido, and Enrico Marini.

Since his early childhood, Kryštof Franciško has been a fan of traditional animation studios, whose style is a great inspiration for him. He strives to create art in the spirit of Disney, the 2D section of Dreamworks, and especially Don Bluth, whose films continue to captivate him with their breathtaking visuals.
