KAROLÍNA STELLA ZÍMOVÁ (comic book writer and artist; Czechia)

Karolína Stella Zímová is a Czech illustrator and comic book author who combines themes close to her heart with the visual language of Japanese manga. In her current work, she focuses on capturing the psychology and dynamics of characters, which play a central role in her stories.
In 2024, she exhibited her original comic RESET THROUGH A BLANK CANVAS as part of the Open Call at the 10th edition of the International Comic Festival KOMA in Brno. The project was dedicated to the personality of Vincent van Gogh and the theme of creative identity. She also participated in the Road 2 Expo project, representing the Czech Republic in preparation for EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Starting in September, she will begin studying Comics and Illustration for Children at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art (University of West Bohemia in Pilsen).
Under the name Berry26, she documents her creative process on Instagram, publishes original illustrations as well as fan art, and systematically develops her distinctive visual style for more than 25,000 followers.
